Accessibility Commitment

TeamBlockchain is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Our approach is guided by the following principles:

• Screen Reader Support: TeamBlockchain is designed to work with industry-standard screen readers (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) to ensure users with visual impairments can navigate and interact with our platform.
• Color Vision Deficiency (CVD) Support: We recognize the importance of color in financial analytics. We are working to provide alternative color schemes and high-contrast modes to support users with color vision deficiencies.
• Accessibility Standards: Our goal is to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
• Mobile Accessibility: Our mobile and PWA experiences are designed to support platform accessibility features, including VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).
• Continuous Improvement: We conduct ongoing research and user testing, and we welcome feedback from users with disabilities to help us improve.

• Energy Efficiency & Responsible Hosting: TeamBlockchain’s primary server infrastructure is hosted in the Equinix Datacenter in Amsterdam, a facility renowned for its commitment to sustainability and responsible digital infrastructure. Equinix’s Future First strategy focuses on delivering secure, efficient, and low-carbon solutions that help customers achieve their own environmental goals.
• Renewable Energy: We prioritize data centers and cloud providers with strong renewable energy and sustainability programs. Equinix’s approach supports the global transition to a low-carbon economy.
• Carbon Footprint: We are committed to measuring and reducing our carbon footprint. We conduct annual audits of our server energy usage and set goals to reduce emissions year over year.
• Sustainable Procurement: We prefer to work with vendors and partners who share our commitment to environmental responsibility.
• Digital Sustainability: We minimize unnecessary data storage and processing, and encourage efficient code and resource usage throughout our development process.
• Transparency: We will publish periodic updates on our environmental impact and progress toward our sustainability goals.
• Community Engagement: We support and participate in industry initiatives aimed at improving the sustainability of digital infrastructure.

• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: TeamBlockchain is founded and led by individuals with lived experience of disability (our founder lives with Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 4 and uses a wheelchair).
